In partnership with Grand Valley State University's Annis Water Resources Institute (AWRI), the Environmental Health program monitors 29 public beaches in Muskegon County. Beaches are tested for E. coli during the high use season and next day results are available on the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy BeachGuard website.
