Using the 65 million dollar grant geared towards creating a public park to encourage healthy habits and modernize our parks to attract visitors coming from other states. Want to introduce a summer sand soccer league for our youth, and create an area for four soccer feilds and also areas with volleyball nets. Would like to see modernized gazebos with circular seating with firetables. Anchored floating rafts people can lounge on. Single stall restrooms with showers on the outside. Dog waste bag stations. Parking stations that are gated for those who hold season parking passes and overflow parking where kiosks are available to purchase day passes. This will create jobs in several areas. Zoning could be addressed to allow food carts, and vendors and ordinances created to outline liabilities and responsibilities of waste clean up from products sold.
