MCR 1.110 - Fines, costs and other financial obligations imposed by the court must be paid at the time of assessment, except when the court allows otherwise, for good cause shown.

Additional Fees

  • $25 fee assessed if violation results in accident
  • Add $25 default fee after 14 days
  • Add 20% late fee after 56 days

While these are general guidelines for the most common traffic offenses, individuals owing fines and cost should contact the court to determine the exact amount of any fines and cost that have been ordered. Proper attire is required for appearance in court. No tank tops or muscle shirts allowed pursuant to court rules.
