The Muskegon County Complaint Intake Form (PDF) is a tool that is utilized by the Equal Opportunity Office when an employee wishes to file a complaint regarding an incident/situation in their workplace. This form contains specific questions to assist the EEO Office in investigating and offering possible resolutions to the complaint. All County employees are encouraged to discuss and resolve a discrimination or harassment complaint at the department level if possible.
If the complaint cannot be resolved at the informal level, the complaint may then be submitted to the Equal Opportunity Office. Once the complaint is received, the EEO Office will make every attempt to respond to you within a 24 to 48-hour period. All complaints and concerns will be handled with discretion and will be kept confidential to the extent possible.
Retaliation Prohibited
Muskegon County will not permit employment-based retaliation against anyone who brings a complaint of harassment or who speaks as a witness in the investigation of a complaint of harassment.
