The existing Muskegon County Hazard Mitigation Plan expired October 9, 2020. Muskegon County has received a grant under the Pre-Disaster Mitigation Grant Program in order to revise and reauthorize the plan. The current Community Profile is a portion of the plan being updated and reviewed by the Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC). However, in order to meet FEMA requirements for Hazard Mitigation Planning, Muskegon County has posted the Community Profile for public review and comment.
