The MI-AVP provides a limited quantity of select vaccines at no cost to adults 19 years and older who might not otherwise be vaccinated because of inability to pay. While the vaccine is at no cost, a $15 administrative fee per shot applies to those who qualify.
The following vaccine are available through MI-AVP while supplies last:
Tdap vaccine for those who have not received a prior dose of Tdap vaccine.
MMR vaccine for those born after 1956 with no prior history of vaccination or documentation of disease.
Hepatitis A vaccine for those with risk factors that put them at increased risk for contracting disease.
Hepatitis B vaccine for those with risk factors that put them at increased risk of contracting disease.
HPV for females 19 to 26, males 19 to 21 and also males 22 to 26 within a high risk group.
PCV13 for those 19 years and older meeting certain criteria
PPSV23 for those 19 to 64 years with asthma or who smoke or those 65 and older who have received a dose after 65.
Zoster for those 60 years and older with no insurance for this vaccine.
